I received a tax-free scholarship $12,000 and worked for Caltex at the Kurnell refinery in Sydney for MIPPS in 2007. I was at Caltex for approx 6 months (17 Jan - 6 Jul). MIPPS gave me exposure to the oil and gas industry and the opportunity to conduct a research project in industry with real and monetary repurcussions. I was able to solve a challenging and complex problem for the company which shall benefit them financially and also benefit the environment.
My future plan is to be a project manager and work in numerous countries on a variety of projects around the world.
