Welcome to the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering website.

Ours is a broad area of engineering which turns raw materials into products using the knowledge of chemistry, biology and physics. Chemical Engineers design both products and the processes, manage operations of processes and research the solutions to environmental problems.

Many of the items that you encounter in your everyday life, whether medicine or ice-cream, could not have been made without Chemical Engineers. In addition, Chemical Engineers are heavily involved in working out how to minimize environmental damage and how to recover previously polluted air/land/water.
